Yemi Olawale

Yemi Olawale is his forties. He studied fine art at the polytechnic in Ibadan.

He is a professional artist; he belongs to many art organizations in his home country. He has had several group exhibitions both at home and abroad.

Igunnuko Masquerade is so much fun to watch live. Sometimes the masquerade could rise to about 20 feet tall or could come as low as 2 feet short and still dancing.

The beautiful costume which compliments his very well choreographed movements to some breautiful and melodious tunes produced in the background is breathtaking.

The Nupe(Tapa) people of the Niger State in the north central zone and the Yoruba people of the South western zone in Nigeria are the custodians of Igunnuko Masquerade.
