Ursula Kofahl Lampron

Born in post-war Germany, Ursula immigrated to North America with her parents when she was five years old. The unsettled times after the war deeply affected Kofahl-Lampron, and is reflected in her art even today in her choice of subject matter. She prefers to concentrate on positive subjects and feelings.

Ursula has had the privilege of studying with Françoise Sullivan, an accomplished artist, and co-signer with Paul-Émile Borduas of the "Refus Global" a significant event in the history of contemporary Quebec society. Kofahl-Lampron has also studied with Laurent Bonet, son of the famous Spanish artist, Jordi Bonet.
